As the Teacher, it is part of my job to ask you all questions, but true thinkers will have questions of their own! Don't be afraid to ask!

Think For Yourself!
You are in high school now, and I know you are already acting like it! Have your own opinions and hold true to them! Be confident with your instincts or beliefs and share them with us. I'd like to hear them.

Have An Open Mind!
Much of this class dives into the culture and beliefs of people all over the world, people that are much different from you. Intelligence comes when you take the time to understand someone else. Understand why they think the way they do, and that will lead to understanding who they are.
Respect Others And Be Respected!
It is an expectation that you all participate and discuss things when the time comes. My classroom is a safe place for all mindsets and thoughts, so don't be araid to speak up! No one will judge you for it, and I will respect you for it.

High school can be a tough time for many students for all sorts of reasons. Our counselors are here as well, but please let me know if you need help with anything. Remember, I was in your shoes not too long ago!
